Morning Bell: Phos Hilaron (A Song Of The Light)

Our series PHOS HILARON (A SONG OF THE  LIGHT)  is an invitation to allow the light of evening to takes us into stillness, prayer and contemplation of the presence of Jesus, light of the world.

The text for the series comes from the canticle (a song of the Church) Phos Hilaron (A Song Of The Light) in contemporary wording, itself drawing on themes in the New Testament, and one of the oldest of all Christian hymns. All Ian’s images for the series have been taken this summer at Mount Wise in Plymouth.

Grace and peace to you
